The 14C56 is a FlexPak Plus 1.5 HP 230 VAC Standard 1-phase D-C controller with a 200 D-C Field supply (max 3.0 amps) and a 40 kVA (per phase) transformer capability. If you require a unit that offers reversing, please refer to a 14C71 model.
The 14C56 is designed with speed selection that ranges from 0% to 100%. The unit offers coast-to-rest on stop command on standard units, but dynamic braking is an available option. Reversing units like the 14C71 offer dynamic braking in both directions. The unit has jumper reconnectable regulator circuits; this allows regulation via either tach or armature feedback. Tach feedback requires the addition of an additional option systems kit.
The 14C56 includes screw terminal connections to allow for simple A/C power connections. The operator controls and the regulator controls are isolated from A/C power for safety. This unit weighs approximately 11 pounds before the addition of any packing material or external shipping material. It is designed for use in temperatures between zero to 55 degrees Celsius where relative humidity (non-condensing remains between 5 to 95%.

The 14C56 has very specific requirements for wiring that should be followed to ensure the lifetime of the equipment and the safety of operators.
