14C480 is Contactor Auxiliary Contact kit, which is manufactured by Reliance Electric as a FlexPak Plus and MinPak Plus accessory.
The voltage for this kit is 115 VAC, the current rating is 3 amps, and the load is inductive. 14C480 runs at 15-20 horsepower at 230 VAC, and also 3-40 horsepower at 460 VAC. Warning: before attempting to install this MinPak Plus/FlexPak Plus modification kit, disconnect and lockout all sources of incoming power to the controller cabinet.
To mount the kit, open the face plate and let your hand down, remove the fuse/circuit breaker mounting plate from the auxiliary chassis, mount the auxiliary contacts to contact or contactors, and mount the terminal sections to the right end of the terminal board. Then route the wire harness under to terminal board mounting bracket and connect it to the terminal sections. Remount the fuse/circuit breaker mounting plate to the auxiliary chassis and tighten all connectors. Close the face plate and tighten the screws. Finally, mount the warning name plate to the power module face plate.
With the optional auxiliary M Contactor Kit, the run status of the three phase Min Pak Plus and FlexPak Plus can be interlocked with user supplied devices. Typical applications include pilot/indicator lights, alarms, and interlocking with other control circuits dependent on the drive system. Remember never to use the Form C Contacts to control brakes or power loads. The recommended wire size for the Contactor Auxiliary Contact kit is AWG No. 14 max.
