Product Description

The 14C315  is a FlexPak Plus DC drive from Reliance Electric. 

The 14C315 is rated 20 HP and is a 3 phase drive.  The unit is enclosed within an IP34 enclosure (rated for protection against water spray from any direction) and is 36 AMP/500 VDC.  

FlexPak Plus controllers are typically panel mounted with remote operator controls placed on the enclosure face or located away from the unit.   The unit is designed to accommodate expansion using optional modification kits (not included.) 

FlexPak Plus models typically include controller functions such as

• 20:1 controlled-speed range via armature voltage control
• 5 to 100% speed selection
• Forward/reverse
• Run/jog
• Start/stop
• The option to remove power to drive the motor via the aux. Panel armature loop contactor

The unit also offers speed regulation using armature or tachometer feedback regulation, and adjustable  IR drop compensation, max speed, min speed, current limit, and accel/decel rates.  Safety features include control circuitry to protect against automatic restarts after interrupted power incidents and the isolation of regulator and operator controls.   Most hardware includes screw terminal connections to allow for easy connection of power.
