The Non-Regenerative Controller with an Auxiliary Panel, 14C103-1U, is part of the FlexPak Plus series. This series is manufactured by Reliance Electric.
The A-C frequency for this controller is 48-62 Hz, the horsepower rating is 2-3, and the AC input drive rating is 230 volts. Therefore, 14C103-1U has a rated A-C line ranging from 14.0-21.0 amperes and an input KVA ranging from 3.22-4.83. This controller also has a D-C armature of 180 volts and a rated armature current of 10.0-15.0 amps. The service factor of application data is 1.0 and the A-C frequency is between 48-62 Hz.
Smooth operation and efficient application is possible because 14C103-1U has full wave, full control conversion. Do not mount the chassis horizontally. You must mount the chassis vertically and leave 2 inches between controllers. Do not place a controller directly in a corner when configuring your setup. This controller contains a built-in surge suppressor, and the power cubes, which contain power semiconductors, are easily replaceable. Optimum performance is possible because this controller is power-matched with reliance D-C motors.
There is an auxiliary panel on this particular FlexPak Plus Non-Regenerative Controller. The panel provides fused A-C line protection. The motor armature contactor disconnects power to the drive motor. The Test Meter Adapter kit, which allows users to measure controller and regulator signal voltages with a voltmeter, is available as an optional feature for non-regenerative controllers. The Automatic Reversing kit, which provides automatic reverse-direction capability, is another optional feature that is only available for non-regenerative controllers. If the user is dealing with applications where an interconnection with external signaling devices is required or desired, the Auxiliary Contact kit is also available for this controller.
