Product Description

14C101U is a full wave converter that is manufactured by Reliance Electric. Officially, it is titled as a Reliance Rockwell Flexpak Plus .75HP-1PH Drive, and it is complete with an analog major loop and an analog current minor loop for armature voltage and speed regulation via tachometer feedback.

 

This model 14C101U has a marked nameplate on the front of the cover. The plate contains the model and serial number. Some important information, like the A-C power input and D-C power output, are also marked in the nameplate.

 

14C101U has two variants – one is the basic chassis controller, and the other one is the more equipped complete chassis controller.

 

The basic controller has no auxiliary panel. It doesn’t have any kind of power converter, regulator or field supply. It also doesn’t have any A-C power fuses or an armature loop contactor. The basic chassis controller is usually supplied by third-party suppliers and therefore doesn’t include this auxiliary panel.

 

A complete chassis controller always has the auxiliary panel with the power converter, regulator, and field supply. It also includes the A-C fuses and armature loop contractor. This complete package is provided by the official sellers, so it has all of the components in a single package.

 

Reliance offers a vast array of modification kits, all of which enhance the ability of this controller. All the kits are mostly plug-and-play, and in this case, these plug into the specific circuits of the control panel. All of the kits are numbered, and the numbers and details are provided in the user manual for the controller.
