Product Description

908FK0251 is a Dynamic Braking Kit that is manufactured by Reliance Electric for their FlexPak 3000 drive series. This specific kit is for 230 VAC drives with a rated horsepower between 1.5 HP and 30 HP. The associated drive for this kit has a horsepower of 25 HP.

The FlexPak 3000 drive is a simple, compact drive series.  This flexible and reliable DC drive is designed to provide precise control, high break-away torque, and rugged reliability.   The basic drive system can have its capabilities expanded through the addition of various drive modification kits to ensure it meets your specific needs. 

The dynamic braking kit slows down the DC motor in an “uncontrolled” process. Disconnect AC input power from the drive before attempting installation. A1 and A2 are motor armature leads that must be connected to the power terminal block. The power terminal block is inside of the dynamic braking kit assembly on the back panel.
