7FN4042 is a FlexPak 3000 non-regenerative drive controller that is manufactured by Reliance Electric. The input voltage is 460 VAC and the enclosure is a chassis. Store the drive controller less than 10000 feet above sea level in its original shipping container. The storage atmosphere cannot be corrosive, and if the storage environment is harsh, the storage container must be covered. The ambient storage temperature should be between -30 and 65° C. The relative humidity should be between 5 and 95%. The Reliance Electric drive identification nameplate includes the manufacturer and series, along with the serial number, the A-C input, the D-C output, the D-C field, the enclosure type, the model number, the manual number, the short circuit SYM RMS rating, and the address for Reliance Electric. Each drive nameplate allows the user to quickly identify drive specifications, ratings, and other important drive information.

The model number allows the user to identify the drive controller. The first 1-3 numbers indicate the drive horsepower under 1000 HP. The F that follows indicates that the drive is a part of the FlexPak 3000 drive series. The following letter may be R (regenerative drives under 1000 HP), N (non-regenerative drives under 1000 HP), S (regenerative drives 1000 HP and over), T (non-regenerative drives 1000 HP and over), of K (kits). The following number may be 2 (230 VAC), 4 (460 VAC), or 7 (integrator). The following number may be 0 (chassis), 1 (NEMA), 2 (NEMA 12), or 7 (integrator). The following number is the version number (0-9, A-Z). The last number may be 1 (U/L and U/L-C listings) or 0 (no listing).
