Product Description

7FN2042 is a FlexPak 3000 non-regenerative drive controller that is manufactured by Reliance Electric. The input voltage is 230 VAC and the enclosure is a chassis. The overload capacity is 150% of the full load rating for one minute. The minimum load is 5% of the rated load. The maximum ambient temperature for a chassis controller should never exceed 55°C. The maximum ambient temperature for a cabinet controller should never exceed 40°C. Derate the controller 3% for every 1000 feet above 3300 feet, up to 10,000 feet.

Standard features on the FlexPak 3000 drive include coast, ramp, current limit, user selectable stop modes, current loss protection, self-tuning of speed and current loops without disconnecting the fields, and an interactive keypad and display for local controls (drive setup, drive operation, diagnostics, and metering). The operator interface includes a large LCD display with built-in digital metering and display text (code, French, Italian, Spanish, German, and English). The OI also includes a “Quick Start” sequence and on-screen menus for monitoring and adjusting the drive. The drive status display indicators include: drive fault, drive alarm, interlocks are o.k., drive ready, drive running, and current/torque limit. The diagnostics include an AC line voltage high/low alarm, a motor brush wear alarm, a loss of AC line synchronization fault, a failed SCR fault, a motor thermostat fault, a control thermostat fault, a drive overload fault, a drive instantaneous electronic trip fault, a tachometer loss fault, an overspeed fault, a field current loss fault, and a network communication fault.
