This 75 HP, three-phase Digital DC Drive is produced by Reliance Electric and serves to manage the speed of motor systems. This particular drive is a nonregenerative drive, indicated by the “N” in the model number, which means that the drive is not capable of reversing the motor torque direction. The drive offers a number of protective features, such as overload protection, overcurrent protection, and overspeed protection. These features extend system life and reduce motor downtime for the system. The drive also includes extremely configurable settings to increase the effectiveness of these protective operations.
