The FlexPak 3000 Series of Power Module drives are products from the Reliance Electric company. These units are manufactured and produced as a flexible, three phase series of digital devices, for both regenerative and non-regenerative applications.
The Operator Interface Module (OIM) keypad used on the FlexPak 3000 is designed for use in monitoring, diagnostics, and parameter adjustment applications. The FlexPak 3000 series can be controlled either at and by the keypad (local control) or it can be set up for remote control via the terminal strip. The OIM can also be remotely mounted as far as five meters away from the drive.
The FlexPak 3000 Series of power module drives are designed with several features that are described as simple, compact, and flexible. Their control, signal, and power field wiring is readily accessible through an external supply of terminal boards to streamline installation. The setup configuration and operation can be accomplished using the optional attachment Operator Interface Module (OIM) or the CS3000 configuration software. That unit is labeled under the designation of 604.42.01, a keypad attachment.
The 604.42.01 interface is designed with a large graphics display and keypad, which allows for an easy setup and the ability to troubleshoot while using plain text. The diagnostic and status information as well as help text are displayed and entered in one of five languages easily selected through the keypad. The quick start menu combines the self-tuning of speed and current loops to ensure quick, straightforward drive setup and startup.
