Reliance Electric manufactures 600FN4041, a 600 horsepower, Non-Regenerative FlexPak 3000 drive. The armature is 500 VDC, the field is 300 VDC, and the rated field current is 15. The full load rated DC armature current is 960 and the full load RMS AC line current is 816. There are many additional options for the FlexPak 3000 drive. One such option is the Pulse Tacho Feedback Kit, which allows the drive to monitor digital pulse tachometer speed feedback on regulation applications. Another option is the Enhanced Field Supply kit, which replaces the standard field supply that provides the drive with electronic field voltage trim and field economy. The field current regulator kit pre-weakens the field, provides field economy, and replaces the standard field supply. With this kit, tachometer feedback is required.
The I/O Expansion Board IOE gives the drive additional analog, frequency, and digital I/O capability. This board mounts on the chassis. The AutoMax Network Communication kit contains a board and a cable and allows the drive to communicate on the Reliance AutoMax Distributed Control System (DCS). The Interbus communications kit allows the drive to communicate over the standardized field bus system INTERBUS and includes a board and a cable. The PROFIBUS communication kit allows the drive to communicate over the standardized Profibus-DP system. The drive control configuration software CS3000-V6 is a Windows-based allows the drive to connect to aPC that supports Windows 3.1 or later. This software allows the user to create, store, upload, and download drive configurations.
