The 500FR4041 model is one of the FlexPak 3000 drives manufactured by Reliance Electric. This model is labeled as a digital DC drive. The 500FR4041 model number has a structure that details all of the drives features; the structure can help the user identify what type of drive the unit is, the horsepower, and other features. This model operates on 500 HP at 460 volts, has a standard chassis, and is a non-regenerative drive operating on software version four with U/L and C-U/L approvals. If the order number structure differs, such as 500FR3042, it would indicate that the model still operates as a non-regenerative drive on 500 HP but will operate at 380/415 volts, with U/L, C-U/L, and CE approvals. Before operating the 500FR4041 model, it will have to be configured by the user. There are multiple configuration types that the 500FR4041 model can work in, and it is up to the user to choose which configuration setting the drive can be used in. Some examples of the configuration settings are a current regulator, a nominal AC line voltage, and self-tuning parameters.
