Featuring ten horsepower and 230 V AC control power, Reliance Electric’s 10FN2042 is a three-phase Digital DC Drive. It offers full control, full-wave 6-pulse power conversion for high performance. It has a reliable 50/60 Hz AC line frequency input and phase insensitive AC line input. The drive is easy to set up using the keypad and LCD featured in Reliance Electric’s Operator Interface Module (OIM). OIM allows users to monitor and operate the drive through a single interface, offering various control keys such as stop, start, run, jog, and more.
While some of the drives in the Flexpak 3000 series are regenerative drives (indicated by the “R” in the model number), this drive is a non-regenerative version of the part. For non-regenerative drives, there is no capability of braking or reversing polarity. Non-regenerative drives require auxiliary equipment, such as dynamic braking circuits or switches in order to perform these functions. The drive has a number of other elements that make the drive an industry-leading option for industrial automation; for example, it is capable of 150% of full-load current for one minute and offers burst firing of SCRs.
