The 0-58770-411 unit is a part of the FlexPak 3000 line, a series developed by the electromechanical manufacturer, Reliance Electric Ltd. Reliance Electric is responsible for producing several lines of motor control drives and additional components.
The FlexPak 3000 series of devices is an array of motor control drive units, designed for flexibility and a compact frame. The 0-58770-411 model is able to configured and operated by using the built in keypad and operator interface module, as well as remotely, when connected to a host device like a PC.
The 0-58770-411 motor drive is able to be configured in a large variety of ways. This includes specifications such as the motor’s maximum and minimum levels of speed, and linear acceleration and deceleration, with the I/R compensation.
The 0-58770-411 is outfitted with a 12 bit resolution for its analog signals, with a 10 V/DC manual speed reference for the motors. The output voltage ranges from 0 to 10 V/DC, depending on the amount proportional to speed and armature current.
The 0-58770-411 model features several standard FlexPak 3000 capabilities, such as the self-tuning ability for speed and current loops, and doing so without disconnecting the fields. There are user selectable stop modes; coast, current limit, and ramp.
The power capabilities of the 0-58770-411 have a wide range of diverse applications, such as the full-wave, full control power conversion, and the burst firing of SCRs. The 0-58770-411 is capable of a 150% full-load current.
