This unit is the 0-58770-110BB model of Reliance Electric Regulator Boards. The 0-58770-110BB is a regulator board that is designed to be able to provide regulation for vector and general purpose applications, as well as a wide range of other functions.
Using vector regulation, this regulator board can provide high dynamic response, maintain full rated motor torque to zero speed, and precisely control motor speed in both directions. The 0-58770-110BB can provide this functionality either by utilizing encoder feedback or without it, using instead a sensorless vector control or SVC. Using general purpose (volts/hertz or V/Hz) regulation, the drive is suited for a broad range of applications requiring adjustable speed control of motors.
The FlexPak 3000 lineup of Regulator Boards are outfitted with one of the following NEMA rated frameworks and casings: there is the NEMA 1, which is fully vented, and contains a communication access door that grants access to the communication port without removing the cover. Intended for general-purpose indoor applications. There is the NEMA 1A rating, which is ventilated with fan and filter. It is designed to contain a communication access door that allows access to the communication port without removing the cover. Intended for general-purpose indoor applications. Then, there is the NEMA 4X/12, which isn’t vented. It’s supplied with base and keypad gaskets and is intended for use in indoor and outdoor environments that require a water-tight/dust-tight enclosure.
