Reliance Electric made the BRU-500-DM-100 to be a 100 Amp BRU-500 series DM-100 model Brushless 3-Phase Servo Drive Module. There is a good possibility that this drive was also sold by ABB or Baldor Reliance depending on its production years. It is a legacy series drive that could be hard to find. Although, AX Control does try to keep it stocked as a new surplus or refurbished part.

The BRU-500-DM-100 is a 170/340 VDC output and 120/240 VAC input 50/60Hz servo drive. It can maintain a peak of 100 amps and a continuous 50 amps. It has a 275-watt maximum power loss value. This drive has the capacity to enable an Electro-Craft motor to have a sustainable control and power required for optimal function. It is intended that an F-Series, S-Series, or I-Series motor be used with this module. The actual motors are the F-6200, F-6300, S-8350, S-6200, and/or the I-5300 TEAO. The TEAO is an acronym for “Totally Enclosed Air Over.”

The BRU-500-DM-100 only has a few external components on its faceplate. It has 4 LED display lights that will glow to indicate that there is an issue with the drive or that it is working as it should. There is a series of 6 connection ports that are alphanumerically labeled P1, P2, P3, P4, P5, and P6. They are also labeled with what type of connection they need to have. It is advisable that this drive receive a vertical flat panel installation using bolts and screws to help it have a secure mounting. Do not install this drive in an outdoor location or install anything directly around it.
