About the DC2-95U
The DC2-95U controller from Reliance Electric is one of the company’s Variable Speed DC units. This component functions as a single-phase motor controller and are compatible with Reliance DC motors. As a continuous duty controller, this unit is used to convert incoming AC power into usable DC power for these motor systems. 115 VAC inputs produce 1.0 HP and 90 VDC. 230 VAC inputs produce 2.0 HP and 180 VDC.
The DC2-95U, like other Reliance motor controllers in this line, offer remote jog, remote stop, remote start, and remote run. The unit also has a coast-to-rest feature. If you require dynamic braking, please look at our listings for a DC2-71, DC2-78, DC2-91, or DC2-98 model, as these offer speed control with reversing and dynamic braking.
