This unit belongs to the Reliance Electric Ltd. series of devices labeled as the BRU Advantage Line Drive series of products. The BRU series was primarily developed as a Reliance Electric series, however, input was also provided by Baldor Electric (now recognized as ABB) and Electro-Craft Inc.
This module in particular is listed as 9101-1592. It is designed as a high-performance servo drive unit, featuring a wide degree of suitability for many applications. It is built to operate both as a servo motor control unit, as well as on induction motors, due to the capability of performing as an index drive for point to point applications.
The 9101-1592 module is outfitted with a series of inputs and outputs. The inputs are specified with a voltage range from 120 to 240 V/AC. These inputs are single-phase and have a frequency range from 50 to 60 hertz. There are 5 full load amps. The outputs are similarly designed, with 120 to 240 V/AC, but with a frequency range from 0 to 400 hertz, and 7.5 full load amps.
