The 5-24 VDC Output Module was made to drive up to 32 low level DC output signals, which can range from a minimum of 5 volts to a maximum of 24 volts. A single one of these outputs, however, can drive as much as 750 mA. This module has a total of four outputs for each of the eight isolated commons.

This module was made to output the on/off signals of certain low DC devices, such as pilot lights, DC relays, and LED displays. There are a total of 32 LED status indicators, labeled using the numbers 0 through 31, to show the status of the module’s 32 outputs. Also located on the module’s faceplate are two female connector sockets. 

When you are wiring the 5-24 VDC Output Module, be sure it is done in accordance with the applicable codes. Be sure that the system’s power is completely off before any installation is done. Also, the terminal strips should be mounted onto a panel and field wires should be fastened to these terminal strips. The module can then be inserted into the rack. After that, attach each of the two field terminal connectors to the mating half of the module and turn the system’s power back on.
