About the O-57415-

This module will mostly be used for inputting on/off signals from certain applicable devices. For example, the module can do this task with devices such as push buttons, selector switches, limit switches, and relay contacts.

The O-57415- AC/DC input module was designed to have the ability to accept sixteen 24 Volt control signals as inputs to the connected system. These input signals may either be 50 or 60 Hertz and may also either be DC or AC. All of the input signals have 2500 Volt isolation to logic common. That being said, the O-57415- AC/DC input module has four isolated commons, all four of which contain four inputs each.

On the module’s faceplate, you will find the components that are central to its uses. There are sixteen inputs, all of which have their own status indicator LED. The input signals are wired directly into the module by making use of a multi-conductor cable, with one end attaching to the module’s female connector socket and the other attaching to the terminal strip for simple field wiring. The faceplate’s female connector socket and the cable plug are both keyed as a means of preventing the cable from being connected with the incorrect module.
