The 803456-8 rack has a total of six slots for the AutoMax modules and one slot for a power supply module. The rack is designed for ease of installation via panel mounting and with internal cooling fans that have high capacity. You will also be able to find a tray to mitigate the management of the many cables for the 803456-8 rack, a surge protector, and an AC line filter. 

The 803456-8 rack has numerous integrated circuits and resistors placed in between the slots for the AutoMax modules and the slot for the power supply module. On the front of the 803456-8 rack, there is a nameplate bracket running along the bottom of it. On the left side of this nameplate bracket, you will find the device’s ON/OFF switch, which is located to the left of a small CAUTION label.

For installation, be sure to follow these steps. Start by mounting the rack onto a panel made of heavy gauge steel. Make sure that this panel is sturdy enough to withstand the weight of the rack, the hardware modules that will be installed inside of the rack, and the terminal strip assemblies for the rack’s I/O modules. Next, mount the power supply into the rack’s leftmost slot. This slot is the widest in the rack. After that, mount the terminal strips onto the panel or on lashing bars and fasten the wiring for the external hardware to the terminal strips. You may then attach the processor modules into the rack and connect them with the terminal strips. After that, you may then wire the rack and then turn the rack’s power on.
