61C615 Technical Specifications

Manufacturer Reliance Electric
Series AutoMax PLC
Part Number 61C615
Product Type Termination Panel Module

Product Description

The 61C615 unit is an active termination panel that Reliance Electric brought to the market to be a part of the AutoMate family of PLCs and related products. Please note that the 61C615 termination panel is not being made by the original manufacturer, but AX Control might have it in stock at this time, as shown on our website.

The main purpose of the 61C615 termination panel is to connect with the 61C613 analog input module so that it can condition and power the 100 Ohm platinum RTDs that are used within the module. The 61C615 termination panel has four input screw terminals that are meant to be used with each of the 3-wire RTDs. A fourth terminal can be used to connect an RTD shield to the common ground.

To install the 61C615 termination panel, be sure to follow these easy steps. The power to the system must be turned off. After that, you can mount the 61C615 termination panel in such a way that its screw terminals and cables can be used effectively. In addition to that, you will want to mount an external power supply within six feet of the termination panel so that it can be properly connected. Connect the power supply to the 61C615 termination panel. You may then fasten the field wires so that they can secure the terminal strip. You may then connect the 50 pin flat cables of the 61C615 termination panel to the connectors on the analog input module. Input channels 0-7 use the middle connector and the input channels 8-15 use the bottom connector on the analog input module. When these things are done, you may then turn the system’s power back on.
