The 57C340 is the Run-Time Programming Executive Version 2.1 created by Reliance Electric. This software is no longer being supported by Reliance, but AX Control does try to keep it in stock. Please look at our website for the availability status of the 57C340.

The 57C340 is an Operating System designed specifically for the AutoMax product line. This is the simplified version of the OS and does not give you the full functionality of the original OS. This software allows you the ability to be able to perform a wide range of functions though. When loaded on to a PC, you can monitor, load files, and running stop-tasks on the devices you have loaded onto an AutoMax storage rack. Processors on the rack typically have to have an OS file loaded onto them. This file will be provided within the confines of the Run-Time Executive software. It is imperative that you load the 57C340 onto your PC before you try to load any program files onto any of the devices on the storage rack.

You need to meet the three following system requirements before loading this program onto your PC. You need a COM port that can communicate with the AutoMax Processors. You need a PC-DOS or MS-DOS operating system that is between version 3.1 and 5.0. Finally, you need to ensure that your computer is IBM compatible with 640KB of RAM and a 40MB hard drive.

Please refer to the instruction manual put out by Reliance Electric, J2-3059. This manual will provide you with more information about the Run-Time Executive software and how to install it onto your system.
