AutoMax Remote I/O Head
The 57C330B is a component created by Reliance Electric for the Automax Remote I/O Network. Automax is a DCS or distributed control system, that can run ladder logic programs just as a PLC system can. This makes the Automax a powerful system for the knowledgeable user.
The 57C330B functions as an AutoMax Remote I/O Head with a 120VAC/240VAC Input. It has basic dimensions of 9.40 inches (height) by 5.50 inches (width) by 7.55 inches (depth.) If cables are to be attached to the unit, please allow an additional two inches of clearance. The unit weighs 6.5 pounds. The unit has a max power dissipation of 50 W.
The 57C330B consists of a power supply, a processor board, a remote I/O board, a faceplate, and a protective metal enclosure. The faceplate of the 57C330B is fitted with a single 250 V fuse. It also has several connectors, including six screw connections that are labeled L1, L2, 120, 240, and two labeled ‘ready.’ This terminal strip allows for connections for incoming power and open contacts for ready relay. The front panel also includes six LED indicators to display error codes. Other connectors on the front panel allow for RS-232 serial port connections and Rail or local head communications.
