The 0-57419- unit is an input module that Reliance Electric introduced to the market to be used along with their AutoMax series. This product has since been discontinued by the original manufacturer, but AX Control still makes an effort to stock this product for our customers. The 0-57419- input module was created to allow a maximum of 32 low level DC input signals at any given time, ranging from 5 Volts to 24 Volts. These input signals have 5000 Volt isolation to the logic common. In addition to that, these inputs can either contact closures and NPN open collector outputs. Both of these configurations, however, will require the use of an external power supply to work properly. In addition to that, four of the inputs can be used to generate an interrupt and be programmed to latch pulses of .7 msec or greater. 

The 0-57419- input module has a total of eight isolated commons, with one common for each grouping of four inputs. 

If you are ready to begin the 0-57419- input module’s installation, then follow these simple steps. First, make sure that the system’s power is completely turned off, including the connected rack and its wiring leading. Next, mount the terminals strips to a panel and fasten the field wires to the terminal strips. You may then insert the 0-57419- input module into any slot in the rack, using an applicable screwdriver to properly secure the module into the slot so that it is not loose. Connect the field terminal connector to the mating half on the module, securing it with a screwdriver to the module. After all of that, you will be able to turn the power back on to the system and begin your operations.
