Product Description

The 0-57409- unit is an analog input module brought to the market by Reliance Electric. The purpose of the 0-57409- analog input module is to input analog signals directly to a local rack within the AutoMax system. In most settings, it will be used for reading analog voltages from process control systems, tachometers, potentiometers, and drive control systems. This module possesses a total of two channels and has a maximum input rating of  +/-15 VDC. The two channels are enabled to provide programmable filters and conversion rates, 100% overrange, and 12 bit conversion plus sign. These two channels have the ability to be converted once every 500 microseconds.

The 0-57409- analog input module is one of the devices in the AutoMax line that has the ability to enable CCLK. CCLK is a process on the Multibus Backplane that, when activated, allows a UDC module to perform its assigned tasks and communicate with the PMI. Be aware that only one module per rack should have CCLK enabled. If more than one module in the rack has CCLK enabled, then error code 38, which represents an overlap error, will occur.
