Product Description

The PFXPW170AF11C00N00 belongs to Pro-face Xycom’s Atom Z510 Pre-installed model iPC family.  This industrial personal computer with a touch screen offers users a 15-inch XGA display and is powered by a DC power supply with a noise filter for Marine certification.  This particular unit has 1 GB of RAM and offers a pre-installed CF Card.  The PFXPW170AF11C00N00 has zero expansion slots and has an embedded Windows OS. 

The PS-4700 series offers users dependability and ease of use in industrial applications.  It works well with Pro-face HMIs and supports connections to other industrial flat panel monitors like the FP3000 series through a DVI cable.   While logic programming is not available in the PS4000 series, WinGP software allows for HMI screen editor software to be used with this system.   Additionally, this fanless model offers lower operating noise for locations where that may be an issue. 

The PFXPW170AF11C00N00 uses a large heat sink to reduce the heat load on its internal components.  This decreases energy consumption and should extend your maintenance cycles.  Be sure to install the unit according to OEM specifications to maintain a proper working temperature. Make sure to use only 24 VDC when operating this IPC.  Power should be removed from the device before removing system covers, removing or installing accessories, hardware, or cabling.  Read warnings in Pro-face manuals for a full description of best practices.
