The PFXPP171CA20N04N00 is a basic model PC that includes a single PCI expansion slot. This slot will allow you to directly connect expansion cards to the motherboard, expanding your basic PC easily.  This is an internal expansion slot. 

The PFXPP171CA20N04N00 is built with a 15-inch display (XGA) that has been surrounded by a bezel made from aluminum.  If you need a stainless steel bezel, these are available on units that begin with PFXPT.  

Additionally, while the PFXPP171CA20N04N00 industrial PC does not have a built-in operating system, it does include a dual-core central processing unit (Intel Core2 Duo P8400).  This is a 1.050V-1.150V 2.26 GHz processor with a 3MB L2 Cache and a 1066 MHz bus speed.  

 The unit also includes 2 GB of RAM and a built-in COM expansion board.  The connection to this expansion board is located on the top edge of the board, along with connectors for the AC power, Mic, line-in, line out, USBs, DVI-I cable, Ethernet, and COM ports.
