The PFXPP170CA20N00N00 uses an AC power supply and is built around a Core2 Duo central processing unit (CPU).   It does not have an operating system built-in, nor does it have options or a storage device.  This is a basic unit that allows you to build out the frame as you desire.   The unit does come with 2 GB of RAM.  

GP4000 series industrial PCs are designed to easily connect to and interface with Pro-face HMI screens.  Additionally, many can connect to a remote smartphone or tablet via remote software options.  This provides data connectivity and reporting capabilities beyond standard.   The industrial PC line from Pro-face has been ruggedized to maintain excellent performance even in more challenging industrial environments.   This series can accept HDD or SSD storage, as well as CF Cards, and with the Core 2 Duo CPU, RAM can be extended up to 8GB.  This is an energy-efficient processor with many options for quick and easy expansion.
