The PL7931-T42 is a Pro-Face rugged industrial computer designed to meet the challenges and needs of industrial settings. These tough machines are designed to withstand years of use on the industrial floor with minimal downtime. The PL7931-T42 is CE marked, c-UL and UL approved.

The PL7931-T42 offers a 15-inch TFT color LCD touch panel that is capable of displaying 260,000 colors. The display has a resolution of 1024 x768 and is backlit with a replaceable CCFL. The unit has external dimensions of 14.73 inches x 12.80 inches x 7.09 inches. The unit is designed to be mounted within a vertical panel and is cooled by an internal fan. This unit can be used within ambient temperatures ranging from 5 to 50 degrees Celsius.

Internally, the PL7931-T42 has a Celeron M 1.3 GHz or a Pentium M 1.6 GHz central processing unit running a Win2000/Win Xp/Win XP Embedded operating system. Units use Phoenix trustedCore Embedded BIOS and have up to 64 MB of video memory. Each unit includes multiple port options including two Ethernet ports, three USBs, four serial ports, and several other ports including sound I/O. This unit is rated for AC100V/240V with a power consumption of 150VA or less.

Please note this unit is designed for panel mounting. The front face of the unit should be installed into a solid panel with protection from possible contaminants like oil ingress.
