Product Description

The PL7930-T42 is an industrial computer that was originally designed and marketed by Pro-Face to be used in industrial applications. This computer is built to withstand the challenges of industrial settings while maintaining reliability and offering long life.

This unit is designed with a 15-inch TFT LCD color touch panel display capable of up to 260,000 colors, and includes four expansion slots. The unit is UL/c-UL approved and is also CE marked. The PL7930-T42 is built upon a Celeron M 1.3GHz Pentium CPU with 512KB of L2 Cache memory built-in.

The unit also includes up to 64MB of video memory. It has four serial com ports (RS-232C) along with two Ethernet ports, three RAS ports (D-sub 25 Pin male, 5 Data In, 4 Data Out, +12V or +5V OUT) along with three USB ports, two LAN ports, and I/O connectors for sound and mic inputs. The unit has one ISA slot and two PCI/ISA slots. An internal clock is rated with an accuracy of +/-180 seconds per month.

The unit is cooled by an internal fan, but should only be used within surrounding air temperatures of 5 to 50 degrees Celsius. The display on the PL7930-T42 includes a replaceable CCFL with a service life of 50,000 hours. The display has a viewing angle of 120 degrees horizontally and 100 degrees vertically and offers four levels of brightness control that is controlled via software.
