Product Description

The PFXLM4301TADDK is a Sink Output Type, Digital I/O HMI in the LT4000M Series from Pro-face by Schneider Electric, and runs on a 24 Vdc power supply. This model includes a clock, which is powered by a backup battery in the event of a power outage. 

There are a few features of the 5.7-inch, white LED-backlit display of the PFXLM4301TADDK that can be adjusted for optimal viewing. The brightness has 16 levels from which to choose or can be turned off entirely, and fonts can be expanded up to 8x the original size. HMIs in the LT4000M series are programmed with and supported by GP-Pro EX. IEC61131-3 programming languages supported by this software are IL: Instruction List and LD: Ladder Diagram. Supported language fonts include Japanese, Thai, Korean, Chinese (Simplified), Chinese (Traditional), Cyrillic, and ASCII.

There are four types of communication interfaces available on the PFXLM4301TADDK: serial link interface (COM1), ethernet interface, CANopen interface, and USB interface. 

The PFXLM4301TADDK is a Sink Type of Digital I/O-only model. There are no Analog I/O points on this unit. Digital I/O Points include 20 Points for Standard Input, 2 of which are for Fast Input; and 10 Points for Standard Output, 2 for Fast Output.

The configurable input functions for fast inputs on the PFXLM4301TADDK model are:

  • Pulse Catch Input

  • High-speed Counter Input

The configurable output functions for fast outputs are:

  • PWM Output

  • Pulse Output

  • Synchronized Output High-speed Counter

Frequently Asked Questions about PFXLM4301TADDK

There are two models under the LT-4301TM models, the PFXLM4301TADDK and the PFXLM4301TADDC models. Are there any differences between the two units?

According to the LT-4201TM/4301TM Hardware Manual, there are no differences between the two models. They both have the same number of digital inputs and outputs, do not have any analog inputs or outputs, and have the same screen size of 5.7 inches. While these two models don't differ, there is a similar model to the PFXLM4301TADDK  model, which is the PFXLM4301TADAK model. The PFXLM4301TADAK model adds analog inputs and outputs. Refer to the Hardware Manual for the specific differences between the PFXLM4301TADDK  and PFXLM4301TADAK models.

The PFXLM4301TADDK model can be used with rear module outputs; what are the functions of the rear outputs when used?

There are only two rear output functions available compared to the three available on the rear input. The two output functions are standard output and pulse output/PWM output. Out of the twelve functional outputs available, fast and digital, only the fast outputs will be used with the pulse output/PWM outputs. The remaining ten digital outputs are used with the standard output functions. Please note that under no circumstances should the two fast outputs be used as standard outputs; even attempting to use these outputs as standard outputs could cause the PFXLM4301TADDK to malfunction.
