Product Description

The CA1-PFSALL-21 unit is included as an available module in the Legacy Display line, which was developed by both the Pro-face Digital Electronics Corporation, as well as their subsidiary branch, Xycom Automation Inc.

The Legacy Display models are designed as HMI units which are also outfitted with an array of components belonging to a programmable logic controller unit (PLC drives). This combination of units is designed to streamline machine design by integrating the inputted information, display, and control data, and can do so while reducing the need for energy intake and hardware space.

The CA1-PFS-21 is a Profibus-DP Slave Interface unit for this series, as a connection module for the HMI units in this series. It is painted with a black finish and designed with the measurements of a 109.9 mm width, a 105 mm height, and a 19 mm depth. This unit weighs approximately 145 grams.

The CA1-PFSALL-21 is outfitted with a Node ID Selection connection, a set of Network Status LEDs, a termination switch, as well as a standard connector port for the Profibus-DP Network.

The ambient operating temperature is a standard industrial range, from 0 to 50 degrees C. While powered down in storage or while being safely transported, it can be exposed to a wider temperature range: -20 to 60 C.
