The Pro-Face Xycom AGP3650-U1-D24 is a 12.1” touchscreen operator interface that is a part of the GP-3000 series. A multimedia HMI, AGP3650-U1-D24 is capable of simultaneously supporting four protocol drivers. A 64-bit 266 Mhz CPU and 10 MB FEPROM of available memory are housed within the interface. This high-speed system works 10 times faster than a conventional HMI. The fast processing power allows for quick screen refresh and data sampling.

The analog touch screen has a no-grid resistive film over the screen’s 800x600 pixel resolution. The system supports 65,536 different high-resolution colors. AGP3650-U1-D24 offers a high brightness setting, measuring at 800 cd/m2. This clear picture allows for better visibility and more exact part placement.

AGP3650-U1-D24 can be used as a single screen monitor and data collector while supporting multiple drivers. If used with scripting tools, the HMI is capable of interfacing with various custom controllers as well. A variety of communication interfaces are supported by AGP3650-U1-D24. A 100 base-T ethernet interface (LAN) is available, as well as two USB ports capable of reaching 5 meters. Two serial MPI ports can be found on either side of the interface, with the RS-422 port capable of supporting up to 16 devices. Devices including barcode scanners, inverters, motion controllers, and regulators are all supported. CompactFlash ™ card access is also available and is located behind the CF Card Access Cover. This cover must be closed when reading or writing to the CF card.

Both microphone and camera interfaces are available on AGP3650-U1-D24 by using either the direct video or audio input ports. An AUX discrete output located on the HMI is able to run the alarm and buzzer outputs while an AUX discrete input can be used to run the remote reset input.
