The AGP3000H-ADPCOM-01 is part of the GP3000 HMI series of operator interfaces. This series of workhorse HMIs offer a number of advantages to older HMI units, including the capability to connect directly to I/O and the ability to bypass the need for a separate programmable logic controller unit. It also offers a number of different handheld touch screen versions. These are the GP3000 HMIs that typically require the use of the optional AGP3000H-ADPCOM-01 conversion adapter. This adapter is used to convert outputs to RS-232C/422/485 serial interface (DSUB) or to Ethernet (RJ45) outputs. 

This small conversion adapter connects via cable into a GP3000H display. It then connects to external devices via a serial cable or an Ethernet cable, depending on the device's needs. Cable length can differ depending on the needs of the external device but typically does not exceed ten meters. Pro-face manuals will be able to give you more details and information about this particular adapter. 

The AGP3000H-ADPCOM-01 includes an on/off toggle switch. It also has a power LED as well as a status LED; these are located just to the side of the power switch. LEDs will help you understand the status and power mode of your device. If troubleshooting is required, turn to OEM datasheets or user guides for additional help.
