The VP100-PT11 is a 15-inch Pro-face Human Machine Interface or HMI. This unit is part of Pro-face's GP series, which was the first-ever series to offer the user the ability to configure their own HMI unit for their use. The VP100-PT11 is designed with rugged reliability to stand up to the most demanding factory environments.
The VP100-PT11 is designed with an external protective cover around its internal memory and board components. However, it is not designed for use as a standalone unit and should be installed within a panel or a cabinet. The unit is air-cooled and should be installed with its front face forward in a vertical position for optimal cooling. If the unit is positioned in some other way, such as horizontally or at a significant angle, the user should consider the addition of some sort of forced air unit to help maintain a proper operating temperature.
