About the GP870-PV11
The GP870-PV11 is a graphics panel human-machine interface designed by ProFace. This unit was originally part of the company s GP70/50/30/10 series. AX Control has a number of these panels available for sale. The user-configurable HMIs are designed to offer reliable control on the factory floor in industrial locations where a regular PC might not withstand rigorous daily use. The GP870-PV11 is built with:
- a 10-inch display
- a touch screen interface panel
- with one or two-point input.
- multiple fonts that can be expanded up to eight times
- an exterior casing
The HMI is ultimately designed for mounting within a panel or cabinet and is not designed to be freestanding. Please note this unit is typically mounted in a vertical position. If you mount it horizontally or at a significant angle you may need to add externally forced air cooling to the unit to maintain it within proper operating temperatures.
The GP870-PV11 supports T-link data transfer. Pro-face has a manual to help with connections between this GP unit and a Fuji PLC using a T-link cable to walk you through this connection process. Please be aware that if the GP power is turned off or is reset, T-link communication will stop and a fatal error will occur. Using the PLC s fault-handler feature will help bypass this issue.
