About the GP550-TC11

The GP550-TC11 model is a device from the Legacy Display array of HMI (human/machine interface) touch screen units. These models are products initially manufactured and developed by Xycom, a Pro-face Digital Electronics subsidiary. This series consists of graphic display touch screen models, outfitted with a series of components that vary with each model. Each of these models is designed with:

  • a NEMA 4X/12 rating
  • a 10-inch touch screen
  • an advanced backlight unit (with four settings for intensity, and eight for contrast)
  • a thin film transistor
  • a liquid crystal display
  • full color and a resolution of 640 by 480

 This unit is outfitted with an application memory that can hold up to 4 megabytes of information and data and is equipped with a backup memory of 256 kilobytes, which is formatted into SRAM for space and efficiency.
