The GP53J-SC11 is designed as an industrial human-machine interface and is capable of withstanding the more demanding requirements of a factory environment.
Fronted by a ten-inch touch panel, the GP53J-SC11 has a lifespan of over 1 million touches with surface durability that meets ASTM D3363 standards. This unit is typically air-cooled when mounted in a vertical position within a panel or cabinet. If your use has the HMI mounted otherwise, such as horizontally or at an angle, it may require external cooling from a fan or some other source to maintain a proper operating temperature range of zero to 50 degrees Fahrenheit. Any type of maintenance or installation procedure for this unit should begin with the removal of power from the unit. This is to protect machinery equipment and the operator.
