The GP530-TC11 is a graphic interface device from Proface, also known as a human-machine interface or HMI, designed for use within challenging settings like industrial factory floors where regular PCs might not hold up to vibration, noise, and other harsh conditions. This is one of several HMI options from ProFace Xycom available in our inventory. The GP530-TC11 is part of the Proface GP70/50/30/10 series.
The GP530-TC11 is designed with an exterior protective casing. However, the unit is typically used within a panel or cabinet, mounted vertically to promote proper air cooling. The unit does not come with forced air cooling such as a powered internal fan. If your unit is mounted at an angle or is mounted horizontally, you may need to provide additional cooling measures external to the unit to maintain a proper operating temperature range.
The GP530-TC11 has a ten-inch front panel that is designed with a resistive film touch panel. This touchscreen has surface durability that meets pencil hardness of 3H (ASTM D3353) and has a lifetime touch span of more than 1 million actions. The unit includes a serial RS-232 port and a USB 2.0 plug-and-play interface.
