The GP450-EGM2-220 is a legacy display from the 70/50/30/10 series of Proface operator interfaces. These touch-screen human-machine interfaces were designed for industrial use and feature rugged and reliable operation.

The unit is designed for a 100-240 VAC line input at 50/60 Hz. The unit also includes a power terminal block located just below the power switch. This is typically protected by a clear plastic cover that will need to be removed before wires can be attached to the screw terminals. Be sure to only use the force required, since overtightening will damage the GP unit. Additionally, a voltage transformer should be attached if the supplied voltage exceeds this unit s stated range. Noise resistance can be improved on the GP450-EGM2-220 by twisting each power wire before it is attached to the ring terminal. This unit must be grounded. The ground terminal is located at the rear of the unit. The GP450-EGM2-220 requires I/O signal lines to be placed separately from power control cables. In the event this is not possible, shielded cables should be used.
