PFXGP4601TMD is an LCD display panel that is a part of the GP4000 Series, distributed by Pro-Face. The display size is 12.1” and has a resolution of 800 x 600 pizels (SVGA). The effective display area is 246.0 x 184.5 mm. This display comes with a white LED backlight. The backlight is not user replaceable. The display comes with a variety of character font sizes ranging from 8 x 8 pixels to 32 x 32 pixels. The number of displayable characters for these size fonts is 100 x 75 characters and 25 x 18 characters respectively. The touchpad display has a matrix design and is capable of two-point touch.

The user must make a few considerations when attaching DC power to the LCD display. If using the spring clamp terminal blocks, there are three connections which must be established. Before establishing these connections, it is important to ensure that the power cord is disconnected from the power supply. The power wire should be stripped appropriately by about 10 mm and inserted into the terminal block. This a small button above each connection terminal, which must be pressed with a flat head screwdriver to insert the wires. The connections for +, -, and FG are intended to be connected to 24V, 0V and the panel chassis respectively. It must be noted that the wires should not be soldered to the terminals. On this display panel, the allowable input voltage input for the + terminal is between 19.2 and 28.8 volts DC.
