The PFXGP4203TAD part number represents a Proface Xycom 3.5 inch human-machine interface from the company’s GP-4000 standard series of HMIs.  Our company maintains an on-hand inventory of several different units within this series. The GP4000 series is known for its compatibility with earlier Proface products like the Pro EX and GP3000. Additionally, the GP4000 drivers make it easy to connect with motion controllers, bar code readers, actuators, PLC controllers, and other equipment. The system offers a no-grid analog touch panel, high-speed application transfer, custom overlays, and a 65k color TFT energy-efficient TFT display. Remote monitoring is possible through GP-viewer EX software.

The PFXGP4203TAD offers an RS-485 serial port, an Ethernet LAN port, and two USB ports (a mini-B and a Type-A. The unit has 320kb of backup memory and 16 MB of Flash Eprom memory. It is UL listed, RoHS compliant, CE and CSA marked, and certified. 

The PFXGP4203TAD unit can be grounded using an AWG 14 (or thicker) wire. This provided 100 ohms of grounding resistance. Natural air circulation maintains the unit’s proper operating temperature. Because this unit is not fan-cooled, it must be properly installed and maintained. Refer to ProFace Xycom manuals or user guides for information on how to properly install this equipment.
