Product Description

PFXGM4301TAD is a control panel interface that is manufactured by Proface, now a subsidiary of Schneider Electric. When setting up the control panel, ensure that the unit will be mounted in clean, dry enclosure. The surface on which the panel is installed must be flat with no jagged edges. The user may implement metal reinforcing strips to make the panel more rigid. Design the panel installation to minimize vibration resonance. Ensure that the heat from the surrounding equipment does not cause the panel to exceed its specified operating temperature. The panel face cannot be inclined more than 30 degrees in either direction. The right side of the unit must face up when mounted vertically, and the unit must be at least 100 mm away from other equipment.

The control panel interface has a white LED backlight that will last for 50,000 hours or more at 25° C. The standard font sizes on the display are 8 x 8, 8 x 16, 16 x 16, and 32 x 32. The ethernet interface is IEEE802.3i/ IEEE802.3u, 10BASE-T/100BASE-TX, and the connector is a modular jack. This unit uses an external clock to accurately tell the time. The functional grounding should have a grounding resistance of 100Ω, and the grounding wire should be 2mm² (AWG 14) or thicker. The weight of this unit is 0.62 kg or less. The atmosphere where this unit is mounted must be free of corrosive gas. The unit must be cooled down with natural air circulation. The vibration resistance is IEC/EN61131-2 compliant, 5 to 9 Hz Single amplitude 3.5 mm.
