Product Description

The GP4107W1D Proface human-machine interface, or HMI, is part of the company’s GP4100 series of operator interfaces.  This is only one version of the company’s various monochrome HMIs that are designed for industrial applications.  Like the GP4107W1D, most of these monochrome HMIs are 3.4-inches and offer a resolution of 200 pixels by 80 pixels on their display.   For other options, look through our GP4100 monochrome options. 

The GP4107W1D is an STN white/pink/red monochrome unit that offers an RS-485 Isolated type connector.  The unit has sixteen levels of monochrome display colors along with 16 levels of brightness control and 8 levels of contrast adjustment.  This unit is no longer sold by the OEM, having left their active sales line in 2019.  

The GP4107W1D supports multiple fonts including Thai, Korean, Chinese, ASCII, English, and Japanese.  These fonts can be expanded up to eight times from standard.  However, the Editor software allows you to set up other font sizes.    

The GP4107W1D accepts a 24 VDC rated input voltage (19.2 to 28.8 VDC) with an allowable drop of 3 ms or less.   The unit is not designed for use above 2,000 meters, nor should it be used in areas where conductive levels of dust are present or where corrosive gases may damage the unit.  The unit has 2.2 MB of Flash Application memory and 128 kb of backup memory.  Additional details about this unit can be sourced from Proface manuals and user guides.
