Product Description

The ProFace GP4105W1D is a monochrome human-machine interface (HMI) operator interface.  Proface Xycom (now owned by Schneider Electric) built and sold a number of different monochrome operator interfaces with different limited palettes.   These units may also vary in the type of interface connections they offer. 

The GP4105W1D is a monochrome STN HMI measuring 3.4 inches.  It has a resolution of 200 x 80.  This is a White/Pink/Red monochrome option. It is important to note that GP4100 monochrome HMIs come in a variety of different color options.  Please take a look at our other available units if this one does not suit your needs.  The GP4105W1D is powered by a DC 24 V power supply. 

The GP4105W1D has a Serial COM port that is an RS-232C Asynchronous connection.  This connector has a data length of 7  or 8 bits with a data transmission speed up to 115.2 kbps.   It has a 2-piece terminal 9-pin connector.   The unit also includes a USB type-A connector and a USB mini-B connector.   The unit supports several different fonts including English, Japanese, Cyrillic, Thai, and Chinese.  Some fonts may need to be downloaded.  Fonts can be expanded in width and height up to eight times.   The touch panel is analog resistive film.    

This unit uses natural air circulation as a cooling method.  Without a fan, it is imperative the unit is installed according to manufacturer directions.  Please read through and understand all installation guidelines as written in associated manuals and user guides before unboxing your new HMI.
