Product Description

The GP4104W1D Proface HMI unit is part of the Proface GP 4000 series.  This GP-4100 HMI is one of several GP4100 units available from AX Control.  They were originally manufactured by Proface Xycom, which was bought out by Schneider Electric in the late 2010s.   This particular unit is an STN monochrome unit running on DC24V type power.  It is a monochrome white/pink/red unit with a 3.4-inch display. 

The GP4104W1D is designed to clearly display small-character text clearly and with good resolution so it can easily be read.  This allows for flexible screen editing and clear non-distorted views regardless of character size.   The unit offers flexibility in language environments.  English, Japanese, Korean, and Chinese are all supported.   Image fonts and graphs are also supported.   Data can easily be transferred using a USB flash drive.  Additionally, the unit can be connected to a PC via a USB extension cable to edit PLC ladder programs without the need to remove the unit from the panel. 

The GP4104W1D HMI is UL and c-UL listed. It is suitable for use as industrial or process control in Class I, Div 2 A/B/C/D Hazardous or non-hazardous locations.  The unit complies with EN61000-6-2, EN61131-2, and EN61000-6-4 EMC directives.
