Product Description

The GP-4601T 12.1 inch touch screen interface from Pro-face Xycom/Schnieder is part of the company’s GP-4000 series of HMIs or human-machine interfaces.  This unit has an effective display area of 246 x 184.5 mm with external dimensions of 315 x 241 x 56 mm.   The unit offers vibration and shock resistance.  It weighs approximately 5.5 pounds before the addition of any sort of packing material. 

The GP-4601T can support up to four protocol drivers at any given time.  It has high definition part imaging and offers multi-language support.  Fonts can also be resized.   The touchscreen is an analog resistive film with a 1024 x 1024 resolution backed by a backlight TFT color display with 800 pixels by 600 pixels SVGA graphic resolution.  This offers up to 65,536 colors.   The display has 16 levels of adjustment through the touch panel or software. 

The GP-4601T has multiple port options, including 10/100 base-T ethernet, serial communication ports, USB, and an SD card interface.   Ethernet multi-linking offers the ability to add more displays without changing control device settings.  The SD card and USB ports allow screen data to be updated via a data transfer tool.
