The GP-4501T Matrix is a standard GP4000 human-machine interface module from Proface Xycom (now Schneider Electric.)  The GP4000 series was specifically created for ease-of-use and to offer reliable connectivity for interaction with other necessary equipment like bar code readers, PLCs, vision systems, and motion controllers.   The units are designed with energy-efficient displays that will reduce users’ on-site power consumption while providing fast communication and supporting two protocol drivers at one time. 

The GP-4501T Matrix includes a 10.4-inch color TFT color touch panel with 16 software-adjustable levels of brightness and contrast.  These can also be changed through the touch panel itself.   The GP-4501T Matrix supports two USB ports, an SD card reader, as well as serial COM ports.  Data transfer up to 187.5 kbps is possible.   The unit has 512 kb of backup memory as well as 32 MB of programmable memory. 

Since this unit does not include any kind of internal fan and relies on natural air circulation for cooling, it is imperative that it is installed to manufacturer specifications.   Make sure you read through manuals and user guides to understand where and how to mount the unit.   This unit operates in areas where the relative humidity remains below 90% and the temperature is zero to 55 degrees Celsius.   The GP-4501T Matrix is CE marked and UL listed.  Input voltage for this unit is 100-240 VAC.
