GP37W-LG41-24VP (migrated from QPM-2D100-L2P) is a product of Pro-Face. This panel is monochrome and displays the information in black and white. The touch panel has 16 x 12 squares per screen and either single or double touch activation can be selected.
When at all possible use an exclusive ground for the panel. If an exclusive ground cannot be found or is not possible to use a common connection point to ground the panel is okay. However, do not connect the panel to another device that is already grounded. This will cause the panel to not operate properly.
You can decide whether the GP beeps as the screen is touched or if you'd like it to have no sound. The GP is capable of having passwords that will be needed when entering the OFFLINE mode or the INITIALIZE mode. The password which is a numeric password will protect the unit's current settings. You can decide whether BIN or BCD format numbers are used when you make screen changes. You can also select the font the panel will use as it is in RUN mode. You can choose between Japanese, Chinese, Taiwanese, Korean, and ASCII. You can also choose the size of the font. When placed in standard mode the display becomes a 16 dot font. When the setting is placed in HIGH, the characters are 32 dots. The HIGH-quality setting is best for Level 1 JIS Kanji, as they appear crisper and easy to read.
